Heat treatment process of high frequency piston rod

Specially treated high-frequency piston rods offer greater wear and corrosion resistance than conventional piston rod products. In the actual processing and production, the high-frequency piston rod is subjected to high-frequency quenching technology and then mirror polished to a hardness of HRC58~62. High-frequency quenching is mostly used for surface quenching of industrial metal parts. It is a metal heat treatment method that produces a certain induced current on the surface of the workpiece, rapidly heats the surface of the part, and then rapidly quenches.

 

The main principle of high-frequency quenching of high-frequency piston rod: After the workpiece to be processed is placed in the inductor, high-frequency alternating current can be used to form the same frequency of induced current on the surface of the workpiece, and the surface or part of the part can be heated quickly for several seconds. Immediately after the spray (dip) water cooling (or spray oil cooling) to complete the immersion work, the workpiece surface or local to meet the corresponding hardness requirements.

 

In the process of heating the high-frequency piston rod, the heat treatment equipment mainly used therein includes: a power supply device, a quenching machine tool, and an inductor. The main function of the power supply device is to output an alternating current with a suitable frequency. The high-frequency current power supply device has two types of tube high-frequency generators and thyristor inverters.
