How to treat the electrochemical corrosion of cold drawn steel pipe

(1) carbon steel contamination in cold drawn steel pipes: scratches caused by contact with carbon steel and electrochemical corrosion caused by corrosive medium forming primary batteries.

(2) cold drawn steel pipe cutting: adhesion of easy to rust substances such as slags and spattering, and electrochemical corrosion caused by corrosive medium forming primary batteries.

(3) baking School: the composition of the flame heating zone varies with the metallographic structure, resulting in electrochemical corrosion of the primary cell with the corrosive medium.

(4) cold drawn steel pipe welding: physical defects in the welding area (bite, hole, crack, non fusion, non penetration, etc.) and chemical defects (grain size, grain boundary chromium, segregation, etc.) and corrosion medium to form a primary battery to produce electrochemical corrosion.

(5) material: chemical defects of cold drawn steel tubes (uneven components, S, P impurities, etc.) and surface physical defects (loose, sand, cracks, etc.) are beneficial to the formation of the original battery with the corrosive medium and produce electrochemical corrosion.

(6) passivation: the effect of acid pickling and passivation is not good, resulting in uneven or thinner passivation film on the surface of cold drawn steel tube and easy to form electrochemical corrosion.
