The product has been processed by hot rolling, cold rolling or cold drawing, and currently has an important position in the domestic steel pipe industry. Cold-drawn steel tubes undergo work hardening during processing. The metal is plastically deformed during cold drawing. There are multiple slip systems inside the crystal. The dislocation movements intercept each other, and many dislocations are pinned, causing dislocations. At the same time, the source of the dislocation stops the action.

 

It is precisely because of such a series of processing that the dislocation density in the steel crystals is significantly increased. When plastic deformation occurs further, the stress increases. Therefore, the cold dislocation processing can increase the internal dislocation density of the cold drawn steel pipe, and the dislocation movability is lowered, which is difficult to generate dislocations and difficult to move dislocations, thereby improving the hardness and strength of the metal material.
