Plating process on chrome bar surface and its precautions

On the surface of the finished piston rod there is a thick layer of chrome bar, which is generally more than 20μm thick, which forms a chrome-plated rod. It is precisely because of the existence of this layer of chrome bar that the chrome rod is superior in hardness, wear resistance, temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.


When the chrome rod is electroplated, the uniformity of the piston rod can adjust the density of the anode cloth according to the size of the hydrogen bubble bubbled out from the cathode of the piston rod. Because this can make the hydrogen bubbles escape evenly, so that the plating thickness on the piston rod is uniform.


During the chrome bar process, the auxiliary cathode ring should be installed on both ends of the piston rod and placed horizontally on the adjustment frame. The height can be adjusted by the nut on the adjustment frame. Then, it is horizontally hoisted into the long plating tank. At this time, one end of the plating tank should have a mechanism for clamping the piston rod, so that the piston rod can be clamped to the clamping mechanism by the nut screw of the outer end of the shaft. On the outer end.


The chrome bar is made by horizontal rotation chrome plating as much as possible, because this method can change the approximate equivalent resistance circuit of the plating circuit of the piston rod in the hard chrome plating process on the surface, so that the power line is approximately evenly distributed and the dispersion ability of the plating solution is it has been improved.
