Cold-drawn tube production process is not complicated, but it involves a lot of different processes. Therefore, proper control is also required during processing. First of all, in order to ensure the quality of the cold drawn tube, it should be noted that the wall thickness of the selected capillary tube should be uniform and there should be fewer internal and external surface defects. And to configure the external surface polishing and internal hole defect cleaning equipment.


Second, we must also strengthen the re-examination work, this process is mainly to improve the quality of cold-drawn tubes, to exclude the inner surface of the existence of folded, severe scribing, pitting and other defects of the capillary. Also check the tools used. It should not only ensure the surface finish of the tool used, but also ensure that the head or mold sticking cannot occur during the drawing process.


The next step is to enter the annealing section. In fact, annealing is a very important process in the processing of various cold-drawn tubes. The quality of the annealing affects both the performance of the steel tube and the removal of the oxide scale. In particular, cold-drawn precision steel pipes need to be equipped with non-oxidation bright annealing furnace equipment.


And then pickling. Under normal circumstances, the cold drawn tube is likely to form some black slag during the sulfuric acid pickling process. These black slags are basically Fe2O3, Fe3O4, and will form surface black spots in the subsequent production. Fe2O3 and Fe3O4 are easily dissolved in hydrochloric acid, so 5-10 g/l of NaCl is added to the acid pool to prevent the formation of dark spots.


In addition to the above points, it is also necessary to pay attention to proper lubrication. When lubricated, it is recommended to use resin as a lubricant, so that the drawn cold drawn tube product will show the true color of the iron matrix, with both a high finish and a beautiful appearance like a cold rolled tube. In short, strengthening control over these aspects will improve the overall quality of cold-drawn tube products.
