3. Select the performance of the reciprocating mechanism of the machine tool according to the structure of the hole. For blind holes, it is required that the reciprocating stroke mechanism has high repetition repetition accuracy and small overtravel, and should be able to adapt to manual or automatic alternate control of long and short strokes. For short holes, the hole accuracy is high, and mechanical reciprocating stroke mechanism is used.
4. According to the hole machining allowance, shape error and hole accuracy requirements, select the expansion feed mode of the oil stone expansion and contraction mechanism.
5. According to the number of honing of the same hole, the production batch or production cycle, the workpiece size and the number of holes processed on the workpiece, the number of spindles or machine tools of the selected machine and the form of the table. For large quantities of small parts, a vertical multi-axis machine with a rotary table can be selected; for large-sized or linearly arranged porous workpieces, a mobile table or a honing head can be used. 6. According to the dimensional accuracy of the hole, the size of the hole, the structural form, the wear resistance of the whetstone, the structure of the honing head, the production batch, the size control method is selected.
7. According to the surface roughness, dimensional accuracy of the hole and the requirements of the production cycle, select the cleaning method of the cutting fluid and whether it is necessary to cool the cutting fluid device.
