The difference is that oil-free lubrication uses solid lubricated piston rings, guide rings and packings. Failure of these components will directly affect the performance of the compressor. All oil-free lubricated pistons using PTFE material to make piston rings should be made of the same material as the piston rod. The guide ring is also called the support ring. Its function is to prevent the piston from being worn due to direct contact with the cylinder mirror surface, and has a guiding role. At the same time, the large horizontal or angle compressor cylinder plays a role in supporting the gravity of the piston and piston rod. If the guide ring is installed at the head of the piston, when the piston reaches the dead center, the guide ring can go beyond the piston stroke and partially enter the valve hole channel. A full-circle guide ring without cuts is allowed to protrude by 2/3 of the ring width; a full-circle guide ring with cuts is allowed to protrude by 1/3 of the ring width.
