Cold drawn seamless steel tubing are widely used. Commonly used seamless pipes are mainly rolled with ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel or alloy structural steel, with the largest output, mainly used as pipes or structural parts for conveying fluids. Special-purpose seamless pipes include boiler seamless pipes, geological seamless pipes, and petroleum seamless pipes.

According to the application of cold drawn seamless steel tubing, it can be divided into three types of supply: 1. Supply according to chemical composition and mechanical properties; 2. Supply according to mechanical properties; 3. Supply by hydraulic test. Steel pipes supplied in the first two categories are also subjected to hydrostatic tests if they are used to withstand liquid pressure.

According to the different process methods used in the production process, the seamless steel pipe can be divided into hot rolled pipe, cold rolled pipe, cold drawn pipe, extruded pipe and the like. According to the shape of the cold drawn seamless steel tubing, it can be divided into a circular tube and a special-shaped tube. In addition to the square tube and the rectangular tube, the special-shaped tube has an elliptical tube, a semi-circular tube, a triangular tube, a hexagonal tube, a convex-shaped tube, a plum-shaped tube, and the like.
